Record-High Coffee Prices: What It Means
Arabica coffee futures on the ICE Exchange surged to a 47-year high this week, peaking at $3.35 per pound. The key drivers:
Severe drought conditions in Brazil, impacting crop yields.
Delayed deliveries from Brazilian farmers anticipating even higher prices.
Robusta prices have also soared due to adverse weather conditions in Vietnam and Indonesia.
These supply constraints are increasing market volatility, straining traders, and pushing consumer prices higher.
